Friends of St Margaret's Church, Ditchling Trust

The Trust’s primary responsibility is to raise funds for major repairs, replacement and conservation of the fabric to help the PCC conserve the church fabric and churchyard to determine what it is appropriate to provide in order to achieve this aim; and to conserve a viable trust fund for this and future generation

We provide financial support to help the PCC the maintain the Church, a Grade I listed building, for future generations. The Friends organisation is non-denominational, and a number of our members are not church goers.

The Friends were formed in 1993 and since then have formed a strong following in the local community. Funds are raised mainly by donations and bequests.

There are 7 trustees, all of whom are village residents, and there are over 50 friends who make regular financial contributions.
